I’m excited to present my second solo exhibition at Mojave Flea Trading Post (383 North Indian Canyon open daily from 11-5pm) in Palm Springs through March 6th 2022. These paintings translate the shapes, colors, textures and lines that I see on my daily walks into dynamic expressions using a vivid palette, unexpected materials and vibrant movement.

While grounded in specific neighborhoods across Palm Springs I’ve allowed myself to expand the map making structure I’ve been developing for years, creating more abstract impressions of the ever-changing environment, from wild canyons and washes to the mid-century modern and contemporary architecture, a continuing source of inspiration.

A group of sculptures titled Frameworks compliments and builds on these paintings. These pieces can be thought of as abstract “drawings” using wire to create a multi-dimensional experience of moving through space.
